A chandelier is made up of many crystals. Its job is to reflect light. We want to be like crystals; to have pure hearts that can reflect the source of all light and love: Jesus.  The name “Chandelier Ministries” came from a prophetic word that Allison received through an intercessor based in the United Kingdom in 2003. The picture the intercessor saw was of a huge, heavy chandelier, which had lots of crystals like droplets of rain falling from the main hub. The hub was solid and bulky because of its need to hold the chandelier together. The chandelier was a beautiful object to look at, its use being to throw out light.  The intercessor said that she saw Allison’s ministry being like the chandelier, i.e. that she would reach out and give the Light to others and have the strength to support new “crystals”.

In 2007 another intercessor also had a vision of a chandelier. She says, “this was definitely no ordinary chandelier. It was so ornate and intricate. It was embellished with precious metals and adorned with multifaceted crystals that were so clear. It was also very, very big. I can’t put into words how beautiful it was. In the centre there was a figure standing. I could not see a face just an outline of a body, as the person radiated such bright light. It was Jesus. Even though there was such light coming from Jesus, it really surprised me that only a small portion of the crystals were alight. But I believe that the Lord will eventually light up every single crystal.
